Firmware & Wi-Fi Setup
For first-time use, complete the firmware upgrade and Wi-Fi configuration before using your G1.
STEP 01
Upgrade the Firmware
Connect your G1 to a Windows computer via USB and use the Firmware Uploader to install the latest firmware.
STEP 02
Configure Wi-Fi
After the firmware upgrade is complete, restart your G1 and follow the Wi-Fi configuration guide to connect it to your network.
STEP 03
Start Using Your G1
Once the connection is complete, choose your preferred software and start your first project.

Getting Started
Follow these steps to complete your first project with AntBelt G1.
Desktop setup
- Prepare your G1. Assemble the machine and laser shield as described in the hardware manual. Use suitable material, a stable work surface, appropriate laser protection and effective ventilation. Never leave a running laser unattended.
- Install the software. On Windows, run the downloaded EXE installer. On an Apple silicon Mac, open the DMG and drag AntBelt G1 Studio to Applications. Check the version in About: 0.1.43.
- Connect by USB. Power on the G1 and connect a data-capable USB cable. Close other applications using the same device. Open Device, choose USB, refresh the ports, select the G1 port and click Connect. Wait until the device reports a connected, idle state. USB is recommended for the first setup; Wi-Fi is labelled Wi-Fi Test in this release.
- Prepare a small design. Import an image or add text. Review its position and size in millimetres. For images, adjust the processing mode and image settings, then click Done to save those changes.
- Review every object. Choose the appropriate processing mode, power, speed and passes for your material and laser module. Check these values before every job; do not assume the defaults are suitable. Start with a small material test.
- Select what will run. Review Process All versus Selected. Selecting an object on the canvas does not by itself mean that only that object will run.
- Focus and frame. Follow the hardware manual to focus the laser. Use Frame to check the physical job boundary on the material. Frame again after changing the design position or size.
- Start and supervise. Check the work area and protection before pressing Start. Stay with the machine. If you pause, verify that the machine has stopped; Stop ends the job.

Mobile setup — Mantisolo
- Install Mantisolo from Google Play or the App Store using the buttons above.
- Power on your G1. Follow the connection instructions supplied with your machine and the prompts in Mantisolo to connect your phone.
- Open or create a small design, then review its dimensions and processing settings for your material and laser module.
- Focus and frame the job according to the G1 manual, check the work area, and supervise the entire engraving.
